MacroDroid – Device Automation

MacroDroid is the easiest way to create functionality on your phone or tablet. Using MacroDroid Direct allows you to create automatic tasks with just a few taps.

Here are some examples of how MacroDroid can help you automate:

# Improve your daily activities on your phone Turn on Bluetooth and start playing music when you get to your car. Or turn on Wi-Fi when you’re close to home.
# Reduce battery life (such as turning off your screen and turning off Wi-Fi)
# Save travel costs (generate your data automatically)
# Increase security during the journey by reading your incoming messages (via text-to-speech) and sending automatic replies via email or SMS
# Create recognizable sounds and descriptions.
# Remind yourself to do specific tasks that take time and stop.

Here are just a few examples of how MicroDroid can make your Android life easier. Here’s how it works with just 3 simple steps:

1. Choose a stimulus.

The stimulus is the signal that the macro initiates. MacroDroid offers more than 70 triggers for launching your macro, such as basic settings (e.g. GPS, cell towers, etc.), device settings (e.g. battery status, app launch / shutdown) ), Triggers (such as shakes, lighting conditions, etc.) and communication triggers (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and data).
Macros can be started automatically, but you can also take a shortcut to the home screen of your device or start using the custom and custom MicroDroid sidebar.

2. Select the function you want to automate.

MacroDroid can perform over 100 different actions, usually performed with your hands. Connect to your Bluetooth or WiFi device, choose the volume level, talk text (like your future or current data), start the timer, adjust your screen, use the task plugin and much more.

3. Option: Limit the schedule.

Restrictions help you allow the engine to fire only when you want it to.
Stay close to your work, but just want to connect to your company’s Wi-Fi on weekdays? With the interface you can specify specific times or dates where macros can be used. MacroDroid offers 50 types of alarms such as: battery status, device connectivity, time and date alarms, ear plugs and more.

MacroDroid is compatible with Tasker and Locale plugins to further expand the range of possibilities.
